The successful candidate will work onsite at our Jersey City rehabilitation facility, which features modern equipment and a welcoming atmosphere. Our center fosters collaboration among healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and assistive technology specialists, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

• Independently evaluate patients’ physical function, utilizing advanced assessment techniques to inform individualized treatment plans.
• Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including exercise prescriptions, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to address pain and maximize mobility.
• Continuously assess treatment effectiveness, documenting progress and modifying care plans as necessary to meet patient goals.
• Engage with patients to motivate and encourage adherence to treatment protocols, ensuring their active participation in recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design post-rehabilitation plans that enhance patient outcomes and foster independence.
• Deliver educational resources to patients on injury prevention, pain management, and wellness strategies, promoting their long-term health.
• Maintain thorough and accurate records of patient care services in compliance with legal and organizational standards.

Our orthopedic patients vary in age and physical challenges, ranging from postoperative individuals recovering from knee or shoulder surgeries to sports-related injuries. As a Physical Therapist at Kessler, you will work closely with patients to tailor interventions that address specific mobility limitations, chronic pain conditions, and functional goals. Your expertise will provide significant support in guiding patients back to their pre-injury lifestyles and enhancing their overall performance.

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• A current and valid New Jersey Physical Therapy license.
• Demonstrated interest and expertise in treating orthopedic populations.

• Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Physical Therapist, with a strong emphasis on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience in using various modalities and therapeutic techniques to treat musculoskeletal injuries effectively.

This position offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
