Leadership Development Programs Lead
The Opportunity:
The Leadership Development Program Lead is responsible for the company's leadership development programs strategy and architecting a leadership journey from middle management to senior executive that ready's and accelerates leaders through the pipeline in alignment with business priorities. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering the company's portfolio of leadership and executive development programs.
You will architect end-to-end learning journeys for programs such as Executive Immersion, Director Immersion, Senior Immersion, Leadership Offsites, and Executive Education Workshops while selecting and assembling the right combination of vendors, speakers, leadership content, industry frameworks, and learning modalities to meet the unique needs of each audience. Grounded in research and industry best practice, you will ensure programs reflect cutting-edge leadership development trends and best-in-class practices.
The ideal candidate can effectively manage and partner with senior executive stakeholders to align program direction, gain buy-in, and refine priorities based on organizational strategy. This role works across Learning & Development, Corporate Strategy, Talent Management, and other critical internal functions to inform business relevant, just in time, high-impact leadership experiences. This role leverages leadership data to identify capability gaps, measure impact, and continuously evolve content for maximum relevance and effectiveness. This role oversees and supports high-quality execution through hands-on development of program materials, session assets, and insight-driven deliverables that enable meaningful learner engagement and exceptional participant experiences. This role leads and oversees a small matrixed team to ensure successful onsite delivery of programs.
What You'll Work On:
  • Develop and articulate the overarching strategy for leadership development programs, ensuring alignment across audiences.
  • Architect the leadership journey integrating all programs into a cohesive experience.
  • Architect end-to-end, high-impact, executive level in person learning experiences for Executive Immersion, Director Immersion, Senior Immersion, Quarterly Leadership Weeks, and Leader to Leader sessions.
  • Select and assemble the right combination of vendors, speakers, assessments, content, frameworks, and modalities to support the unique developmental needs of each leadership population.
  • Curate high-value leadership topics aligned with business strategy and core capability areas.
  • Deliver and support execution of leadership programs, ensuring a seamless, high-quality participant experience.
  • Develop program materials, session assets, and facilitator resources that reflect best-in-class design and learning principles.
  • Provide direct support during program delivery to ensure smooth operations and effective engagement.
  • Interface confidently with senior leaders to align program goals, validate priorities, and gather insights to inform design decisions.
  • Work cross-functionally with business leaders, HR partners, and content experts to ensure program relevance and impact.
  • Analyze assessment data, program evaluations, and participant feedback to identify capability gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Use data to refine learning content, adjust program flow, and enhance overall program value.
  • Conduct research and benchmarking on industry leadership development trends, methodologies, and service offerings to ensure programs remain cutting-edge.
  • Lead and synthesize industry research to inform program evolution and future capability needs.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations that shape strategy and content design.

You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience in leadership development, talent development, learning design, or organizational development
  • Experience with M365, including Excel and Co-Pilot
  • Experience working with multiple learning modalities, leadership assessments, and adult learning principles
  • Experience guiding cross-functional teams, establishing structure in ambiguous environments, and ensuring accountability and progress across workstreams
  • Ability to influence and work confidently and effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to design and deliver high-impact programs for senior and executive audiences
  • Ability to lead and contribute directly to complex and enterprise-level people initiatives, bringing strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and operational execution
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
