About the Role:
Join the Camp Bow Wow family as a Doggy Daycare Kennel Attendant Senior Camp Counselor! In this exciting role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional care and supervision to our furry guests while ensuring a fun and safe environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Conduct regular health and behavior assessments of all dogs in the daycare.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the facility, including play areas and kennels.
  • Communicate effectively with pet parents regarding their dog's behavior and needs.
  • Administer medications and provide basic first aid as needed.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and volunteers.
  • Implement and participate in enrichment activities to promote mental stimulation.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the daycare environment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; experience in animal care preferred.
  • Strong understanding of dog behavior and body language.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both pets and people.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work on your feet and stand for extended periods.
  • CPR and First Aid certification for pets is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a daycare, kennel, or similar environment is preferred.
  • Passion for animal care and a friendly, positive attitude.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Part time also available with Minimum of 3 days a week (4 hour shift minimum) throughout training process
  • Prior dog experience in daycare/rescue/shelter/animal handling
  • Must be at least 17 to apply (Working papers required for 17 y/o)
Schedule:

  • 6 or 8 hour shifts available
  • Shifts available: morning, day, and evening
  • Monday to Friday and weekend availability; holiday rotation required
