Lab Technician
Direct Hire!
Location: New Berlin, WI
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift
Pay Rate: $24.00-25.00 per hour
Kelly Science is seeking a Lab Technician to support our client’s Quality & Technical team by performing quality control and analytical testing of raw materials and batch samples. This position is responsible for completing testing accurately and within established timeframes while maintaining proper documentation and following ISO and Quality Management programs.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently while contributing to a team-focused environment.
Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Perform quality control testing of raw materials and batch samples in accordance with established procedures and specifications.
  • Accurately complete all required laboratory records, test results, and associated documentation.
  • Follow established laboratory procedures, safety practices, ISO requirements, and company quality policies.
  • Communicate test results, observations, and potential quality issues clearly and promptly.
  • Participate in quality program activities, including:
    • Statistical Quality Control (SQC) testing
    • Round robin proficiency testing
    • Test Method Assessments
    • Equipment calibration and operational checks
  • Support continuous improvement efforts within the Quality & Technical department.
  • Perform other laboratory and quality-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or acceptable science is preferred. Equivalent education, laboratory coursework, or relevant experience may be considered.
Experience & Technical Skills:
Previous laboratory experience is helpful but not required. Ability to follow written procedures and test methods. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
