PRINCIPAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Describe below the major responsibilities of this position which must be fulfilled with or without reasonable accommodations in order to
achieve the essential purpose of this position.
1.  Disassemble equipment as necessary to properly clean.
2. Use water, chemicals and scrub pads to clean equipment to a level acceptable to USDA and Perdue Q.A.
3. Must be able to help wipe down condensation in your area after completing your cleaning process.
4. Wear all necessary safety equipment such as steel-toed boots, bump cap, safety glasses/goggles, rain suits and ear plugs.
5. Must be able to help assemble some equipment in certain areas for production start up
6. Follow all reasonable requests by supervisor.  Other Duties as assigned by supervisor, including working with other departments as needed.   

Specialized or technical knowledge, credentials or licensing required for the position include: Must be trained and able to use Lock out / Tag out procedures (Will be trained during orientation) 

DECISION-MAKING RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks are assigned daily; in addition, the associate is familiar with most control parameters and will be authorized to make adjustments on an individual basis commensurate with his / her demonstrated capabilities.

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The environmental factors and/or physical requirements of this position include the following:
Must be able to work in temperatures not to exceed 60 degrees.  Wet environment - rain suits required.  Must be able to work with corrosive chemicals.  Cannot be allergic to corrosive or cleaning chemicals. Climbing, bending, twisting, squatting and keeling required to get between and around machinery/equipment.  Must be able to lift 50 pounds.  Must be able to push or move equipment weighing 50 lbs or more.
