Position Summary: Deliver weekly art classes to groups of children in an after-school setting at different schools. Compensation: $40.00 per class hour. About the OrganizationKE Art for Kids has been creating meaningful art experiences for children since 2017. Founded by Karen Esther, a Montessori educator and art teacher, KE Art provides after-school art classes at different locations throughout Miami.Our Mission: To create meaningful art experiences for children. Our Vision: To be the number one provider of children's enrichment in Florida. Our Values: Nurturing, Creative, Energetic, Kindness, Honesty, & Commitment. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Deliver weekly art classes to groups of children after school on site.Ensure the safety of all students in your care.Provide instruction and modeling on the proper use of various art mediums.Prepare all art materials in an organized and timely manner.Responsible for classroom set-up and clean-up.Keep an enthusiastic and upbeat pace for the hour of class instruction, guiding students into a creative state.Attend staff meetings and trainings.Manage communication and interactions with all clients, parents, and students in a respectful and professional manner.More opportunities are available with the Afternoon Instructor position at KE Art Studio.
