Job description

VCA Katonah Bedford Veterinary Center, a hybrid specialty hospital, is excited to announce we are growing!  To better support the pets and people in our community we are adding to our ER/ICU Licensed Veterinary Technician teams!

Are you someone who wants a challenge and the opportunity for growth?  At VCA Katonah Bedford you will utilize your knowledge and cultivate new skills while collaborating with a team of like-minded professionals.   

Potential Schedule: Full time (4)10 hour shifts, holiday rotation

Compensation: $32 - $42 / hr based on skill set, experience, and licensure status (LVT, VTS).  **Plus Overnight Differential **

Licensed Veterinary Technician Responsibilities:

  • Procedural anesthesia monitoring
  • Full technician skill utilization
  • Collecting patient histories & physical exams
  • Medication refills, and pet parent communication
  • Proficient in medical calculations
  • Venipuncture / IVC placement
  • Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)
  • Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
  • Providing compassionate care for all patients
