Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an Engineering Technologist to support utility and telecommunications infrastructure projects from cradle to grave. This role blends fieldwork, surveying, design, permitting, and project coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on work and office-based engineering support.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years of experience within power distribution/ utilities
High school diploma or GED required.
Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Surveying, GIS, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
Experience working in utility, telecommunications, construction, surveying, or field engineering environments.
Comfortable performing both field and office work.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

General knowledge of utility or telecommunications infrastructure.
Experience with surveying and GPS data collection.
Familiarity with Trimble, Katapult, or similar field collection technologies.
Experience reading and interpreting utility maps, construction drawings, and engineering plans.
Understanding of easement, right-of-way, and permitting processes.
Exp with JETs, Specs, cradle to grave projects
