As a Quality Engineer, you will ensure hardware and processes meet rigorous program and customer requirements throughout design, development, testing, qualification, and production. You will drive continuous improvement, lead investigations, support design reviews, and help maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to strengthen product integrity and program execution.
Responsibilities
- Develops and executes quality plans across program phases from development through production.
- Implements new quality inspection methodologies to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Supports customer design reviews to ensure quality requirements are fully addressed.
- Performs in‑process inspections during fabrication and assembly, including AS9102 First Article inspections.
- Prepares Technical Data Packages (TDPs) for hardware deliverables.
- Reviews Purchase Orders for accurate contractual, project, and quality flow‑down requirements.
- Generates, investigates, and resolves Corrective Action Reports (CAR) and Non‑Conformance Reports (NCR).
- Leads failure investigations to identify root cause and define corrective actions.
- Performs supply chain risk analysis to ensure supplier quality and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
