Job description

REQUIREMENTS:

 

The most qualified candidates that pass the leader test will be interviewed for the position.

Must be able to perform the essential functions of the positions.

Must have a valid driver's license.  Will be required to

obtain fork lift and stand up lift certification.  There will be frequent lifting of 15 to 35

pounds; occasionally lifting up to 60 pounds.  Regularly required to stand, bend and

reach and lift boxes as high as 66 inches.  Must be able to work at heights up to

18 feet and capable of operating a pallet jack.

Safety equipment restricts a personal weight limit up to 325 lbs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

S&R Leader at SV5, SV5-2 and Warehouse.  S&R Leader will be expected to learn and

maintain skills required at each of the Scottsville locations.

Assign operators to work area and designates breaks.  Required to assist in the loading

and unloading of truck shipments, stocking and picking carts - customer orders and

kanbans.  Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and

follow prescribed safety regulations.  Must be able to print and prepare picklists to

keep S/R supplied with orders to pick on multiple shifts.  Must be able to perform

limited functions of S/R Supervisor in the event of his/her absence.  Scan all items

received and enter receipts using MICS - gun or PC.  Stocking, transferring, picking,

wrapping and other tasks involved with shipping receiving process.  Will be assigned

to Cycle Count area and keep area clean.  Will be required to perform other duties

as requested, directed or assigned.
