Job description

GovSG is seeking an experienced SAP ERP Finance SME with Kanban delivery experience to provide technical leadership and workstream coordination for the Navy ERP Program Office. The candidate will lead a cross-functional team of SAP analysts and developers, manage work intake and flow using Kanban principles, and serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned workstream activities.
This position is remote but based out of Washington D.C..
Position Duties:
  • Manages and directs on client engagements or extensive knowledge of and experience with system development and implementation, development of engagement work plans, deployment of program criterion, and related activities
  • Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems, provides guidance and experience on technical solution implementation, engages resources and/or serves as a team leader, performs analyses of client issues, interprets implications of design, and helps to ensure that software design meets business needs
  • Advises on information technology implementation problems using analysis, experience, and judgment
  • Other experience includes implementing business process reengineering, developing financial models, orchestrating change management principles, and conducting performance measurements
  • Serves in the role of project team leader over assigned support areas, often filling the position of project team lead and instructing, directing, and monitoring the work of other IT staff or serves in a role of an experienced technical expert
  • Conducts analysis of work plan completeness, prepares status reports, and supports quality control practices
  • Performs analyses of client issues, assesses appropriate alternatives, and recommends solutions to be implemented
  • Communicates client expectations to project team, and escalates issues to senior level project staff as needed
  • Maintains technical knowledge within industry and service line Manages teams providing all components of technology services including, but not limited to, advise, implement, and operate services of people, process, and technology

Position Required
  • DoD Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Demonstrated experience working with SAP Navy ERP systems
  • Experience providing Tier 3 or advanced functional/technical support
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train diverse user groups
  • Understanding of Navy workflows, financial processes, or supply operations
Position Desired
  • Navy ERP or DoD ERP team lead experience
    Experience leading mixed functional and technical teams on large-scale ERP programs
    SAFe or Kanban certification
Salary: $156,000- $173,000. Actual compensation offered to candidate will vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
