We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our specialized Child & Adolescent Psychiatry team at Kaiser Psychiatric Center in Thousand Oaks, California. This full-time opportunity is primarily remote, providing the flexibility to deliver vital mental health services via telehealth. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the well-being of young clients by addressing their diverse mental health needs through effective therapies.

In this remote role, you will engage with clients and colleagues through telehealth platforms, utilizing advanced technologies to provide therapy sessions, assessments, and family education. You will benefit from a work schedule of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs. • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the needs and dynamics of children and adolescents.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate the developmental stages and family context of each young patient.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to efficiently address a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
• Facilitate family therapy sessions, working closely with parents and caregivers to establish a nurturing environment that fosters healing.
• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure that care is coordinated and holistic.
• Provide critical crisis intervention and support during emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of our young clients.
• Educate families about mental health conditions, effective coping strategies, and available community resources to empower them.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards within the mental health profession.
• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry to ensure that our clients receive top-notch care.

This role is centered around providing care to children and adolescents experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. By engaging with young individuals and their families, you will play a critical role in helping them navigate their mental health journeys and achieve positive outcomes.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Strong knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and treatment modalities is crucial.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to therapy.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth technologies.
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work seamlessly as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience working in child and adolescent mental health settings.
• Demonstrated success in providing individual and family therapy with a focus on children and adolescents.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
