Work Environment

This position allows for flexible remote work, enabling you to perform your duties from the comfort of your own home while still being an integral part of our clinical team. Our online platforms facilitate seamless communication and collaboration, ensuring that you remain connected with colleagues and clients alike. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand clients' mental health statuses and develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
• Implement various therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Maintain thorough and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team, engaging in regular consultations to enhance the continuity and effectiveness of care.
• Provide education and resources to clients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available community resources.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health therapy and contribute innovative ideas to improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• An active license to practice as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
• Proficient in implementing solution-based psychotherapy interventions, ensuring that each client’s treatment plan is personalized and effective.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trusting relationships with clients and collaborate effectively within the treatment team.
• Demonstrated critical thinking ability and problem-solving skills, essential for adapting therapeutic strategies based on individual client situations.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in a community health setting or outpatient mental health clinic is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and the ability to manage a remote caseload effectively.
