Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments, leveraging evidence-based practices to design personalized treatment plans for each client.
• Implement a range of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to individual client needs.
• Maintain detailed and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and other legal standards.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure a holistic approach to each client's mental health.
• Engage in regular clinical case consultations and peer review meetings to continually improve care quality and share insights.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families about mental health conditions, therapies, and community resources that promote recovery.
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements and research findings in the mental health field to inform practice and enhance treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals coping with trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders. Your role as a counselor will be pivotal in guiding each client on their unique path toward recovery and personal growth, making a profound impact on their lives.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active license to practice as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of California.
• Strong grasp of solution-focused psychotherapy interventions and the ability to adapt treatment methods to meet individual client needs.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with clients and collaborating with colleagues.
• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills effectively in a clinical setting.
