Full-time annual salary range is $301,476 to $310,800 plus additional potential incentives up to $22,010*. Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available. *Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay.

We are seeking a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our team at Kaiser Santa Clara. Subspecialty expertise in areas such as inflammatory bowel disease, hepatology, or motility is welcomed but not required for this general pediatric gastroenterology role. Clinical responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient consultations, diagnosing and managing a broad range of pediatric gastrointestinal conditions. Outpatient care encompasses in-person, video, and telephone visits at the Santa Clara Medical Center or satellite clinics, serving patients from across the South Bay. In addition, we require proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, colonoscopy, review of pH/impedance tracings and video capsule endoscopy.

The Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara Medical Center includes a 26-bed Level III NICU, a 24-bed pediatric ward, and a 7-bed PICU, all staffed 24/7 by pediatric hospitalists and pediatric intensivists. You will join a collaborative pediatric subspecialty team representing the full spectrum of pediatric care, supported by dedicated case managers, registered dietitians, social workers, embedded child psychologists, child life specialists, and experienced support staff.

In addition to strong local collaboration, you will be part of a regional network of 14 pediatric gastroenterologists across Kaiser Permanente Northern California. The ideal candidate brings a team-oriented mindset, strong clinical and communication skills, and an interest in advancing pediatric gastroenterology care within a supportive, innovative environment.

Requirements:

Is Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology and have or can obtain active medical license in the state of California. Should be comfortable providing inpatient and outpatient care as well as performing procedures. Must be willing to teach medical students and residents who rotate through our clinics and most importantly be willing to work collaboratively and collegially.
