Job description

K2 Paving/ Construction in Lincoln, NE is looking for motivated individuals to join our team. We are actively seeking qualified candidate to fill our open Foreman position. Persons interested in applying for the foreman position must have experience running crews of 4-8 people and have experience in concrete removal and replacement.

Job Description

  • Interpret and implement construction plans.
  • Oversee the concrete paving projects.
  • Read, understand, and enforce safety policies and practices.
  • Ability to communicate and schedule their work with other employees of the company.
  • Communicate with managers, sub-contractors, and Project Managers on a daily basis or as needed. Including reports on labor, quantities or work completed/ left to complete along with management of equipment (reporting when it's in need of maintenance).
  • Knows and understand all concrete specifications related to concrete placement.
  • Must be willing to work the hours needed to complete projects in a timely manner while meeting quality standards.
  • Manage paving crew to ensure that K2 Construction's high-quality standards are consistently met.
  • Self-sufficient with the ability to plan strategically is key. Organized with attention to detail.
  • Willing to travel between Lincoln and Omaha metro areas including surrounding areas to the metros.
