Job description

The JIT (Just-In-Time) Lead at FCP Euro is a diligent, organized, and skilled team leader with extensive experience leading all JIT inventory for eCommerce distribution. They are ultimately responsible for overseeing, coordinating, maintaining, and processing JIT into the Distribution Center while reaching all critical milestones regarding key performance indicators at an accuracy rate of 99% or higher.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Daily processing of JIT, while being involved in the planning, organization, control, and improvement of all inbound JIT functions.
  • Motivate teams to ensure all JIT inventory is organized, accurate, and received in the most timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Oversee production and performance while setting the bar for accuracy, efficiency, and quality of process while keeping the JIT area organized, structured, and clean.
  • Review electronic documents, communicate expectations, report on critical numbers, and work directly with stakeholders to align the team on any potential pivots needed to satisfy daily goals.
  • Properly train resources in all areas of the department, as well as work with cross-functional departments to implement process improvements.
  • Developing relationships with various vendors is a must, with a heavy emphasis on cross-functional collaboration with fulfillment to resolve issues and create initiatives that improve the operation.
  • Works to improve team performance through huddles, feedback, and other communication methods
  • Sets an example for a clean distribution center, picking up trash, clearing corrugate, utilizing proper picking techniques, setting an example for other teams.
  • Acts as a representative of the team, reports and triages issues appropriately

Qualifications and Skills
  • One year of Distribution or Warehouse Supervisory experience is required.
  • Exhibits reliability and punctuality with a team-focused positive attitude.
  • Can utilize various WMS/ERP software to receive products in the correct locations.
  • Is proficient with modern software, including Google Suite and MS Office
  • Forklift / Powered equipment experience is a plus but not required as we will certify you.
  • Ability to lift 60+ lbs.; ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
  • Automotive product knowledge is a plus but not required.
