Cozy Nest Wellness Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our dedicated team. In this full-time, remote position based in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, you will play a crucial role in providing therapeutic support and guidance to families and individuals, while enhancing your clinical skills and contributing to positive patient outcomes. This position allows for a significant degree of autonomy, as you will conduct your sessions remotely while still being part of a supportive team dynamic. Our outpatient office setting facilitates continuity of care, enabling therapists to collaborate effectively on client cases. Our working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to create a balanced work-life structure while providing essential care to those in need.

• Conduct and evaluate comprehensive mental health diagnostic assessments to identify clients' needs and treatment eligibility.
• Create, implement, and regularly review personalized treatment plans that address individual client goals and challenges.
• Document ongoing treatment progress through detailed case notes, including adjustments to therapeutic strategies based on client feedback and outcomes.
• Provide support, guidance, and interventions to empower clients struggling with mental health issues and cultural identity concerns, enhancing their coping skills and resilience.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, ensuring a coordinated approach to client care and contributing to a shared understanding of community mental health gaps.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and creative interventions tailored to each client’s unique needs, fostering innovative treatment methods.
• Engage in regular supervision sessions to enhance your cultural competence and clinical skills, ensuring the highest quality of care.

You will primarily work with individuals and families facing a range of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and trauma-related concerns. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and your role will involve understanding and addressing their unique cultural identities and experiences in therapy. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be crucial in advocating for their mental health needs and helping them navigate life's challenges.

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in providing mental health therapy, including working with families.
• Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining strong professional boundaries.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
• Proven capability to model stability and professionalism in all client interactions.

While 3 years of experience is the minimum requirement, candidates with additional experience in trauma-informed care, culturally responsive therapy, or group therapy facilitation will be given preference. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems or teletherapy platforms is a plus, as it enhances our ability to streamline client care.

Cozy Nest Wellness Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with your level of experience and qualifications.
