Hiring Immediately!
Responsibilities:
  • Analyzes resident's hair and questions resident to determine their hairdressing preference.
  • Washes, dyes, perms, tints, bleaches or curls or waves hair based on residents' instructions.
  • Styles hair by blowing, cutting, trimming and tapering.
  • Cleans, shapes and polishes fingernails.
  • Removes unwanted facial hair by waxing or tweezing.
  • Makes and confirms hairdressing appointments and coordinates wheelchair transportation for resident through Transportation.

Educational/Vocational Requirements:
  • A High School Diploma,
  • A valid cosmetology license with at least six months related experience.
  • Previous experience in healthcare or service related setting.
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
