Job Title: Junior Accountant

Overview
Our company is growing at an unprecedented rate, and we are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, solid Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

The Junior Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Supervisor and will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements
  • Analyze and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Post journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue
  • Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
  • Maintain and record fixed assets
  • Prepare and file local compliance reporting as required
  • Act as a liaison with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
  • 2+ years of related accounting experience
  • Hands-on experience working with general ledger accounts
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
