Job description

DUTIES:
โ€ข Develop, write, and edit technical documents, including program plans, acquisition documentation, SOPs, white papers, and technical reports.
โ€ข Create and refine leadership briefings, presentations, and communication materials to support decision-making.
โ€ข Translate complex technical, financial, and programmatic information into clear, concise, and user-friendly content.
โ€ข Ensure all documentation complies with DoD, Army, and organizational formatting, style, and security requirements.
โ€ข Maintain document version control, configuration management, and archival processes.
โ€ข Conduct interviews with subject matter experts to gather technical details and validate content accuracy.
โ€ข Review and edit documents for grammar, clarity, consistency, and technical accuracy.
โ€ข Support the development of contract documentation, including Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), and technical directives.
โ€ข Assist with preparing materials for Program Management Reviews (PMRs), IPTs, and stakeholder engagements.
โ€ข Coordinate document reviews, consolidate feedback, and ensure timely delivery of final products.
โ€ข Manage templates, style guides, and document standards to promote consistency across the program.
โ€ข Support audits, data calls, and reporting requirements by producing accurate and timely written materials.
โ€ข Identify opportunities to improve documentation processes and implement best practices
Required Skills/Experience:
โ€ข Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical writing, editing, or documentation management.
โ€ข Experience supporting DoD, federal government, or acquisition programs.
โ€ข Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
โ€ข Ability to interpret and communicate complex technical information clearly and accurately.
โ€ข Experience editing for grammar, clarity, consistency, and compliance with style guides.
โ€ข Familiarity with DoD documentation standards, including acquisition and program management artifacts.
โ€ข Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
โ€ข Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
โ€ข Must be a U.S. Citizen.
โ€ข Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Journalism, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
