AbelCine is a leading provider of products, services, and staffing solutions to the production, broadcast, media, and content creation industries. We partner with some of the most recognized organizations in media, entertainment, finance, technology, and corporate communications.
We are currently seeking a Junior Visual Designer to join AbelCine as a full-time employee supporting one of our consulting clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a fast-paced in-house creative team producing high-quality visual content across digital, brand, presentation, and marketing initiatives. If you're a designer who has been tested in real-world environments, enjoys tackling diverse creative challenges, and is looking to grow within a high-performing team, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the design and production of visual assets across digital, social, video, events, presentations, and marketing channels.
  • Create polished layouts, graphics, templates, and visual systems that align with brand standards and project objectives.
  • Assist in the development of motion graphics, animations, and visual storytelling assets for social, digital, video, and event environments.
  • Translate complex information, insights, and data into clear, engaging visuals, including charts, infographics, presentation graphics, and executive-ready materials.
  • Contribute to event design needs, including environmental graphics, signage, screen content, digital displays, invitations, agendas, and supporting visual materials.
  • Partner with senior designers, creative leads, video producers, editors, marketers, and stakeholders to integrate static and motion design into broader content experiences.
  • Help maintain consistency across brand assets while adapting design systems for new formats, channels, and use cases.
  • Prepare presentation materials, campaign assets, social graphics, digital layouts, and visual concepts with strong attention to typography, hierarchy, composition, and detail.
  • Support the creation of design concepts and mood boards that communicate creative direction and visual intent.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals, audience needs, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Manage multiple design tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of execution.
  • Stay current on design trends, digital content formats, motion techniques, event design applications, and data visualization best practices.
  • Incorporate feedback thoughtfully and efficiently, refining work to meet creative, strategic, and business objectives.
Requirements For a Successful Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1-3 years of professional design experience in an agency, in-house, production, freelance, or consulting environment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating real-world, professional work experience across a variety of mediums and project types; academic or student work alone will not be sufficient.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Motion graphics and animation experience is a plus.
  • Exposure to art direction and participation in larger creative campaigns is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of visual design principles, typography, layout, branding, and visual storytelling.
  • Versatile designer who is comfortable working across digital, presentation, social media, marketing, and brand design projects.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and accountable, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from concept through execution.
  • Demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness, and problem-solving ability in fast-paced environments.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in an environment where priorities and business needs may evolve.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a positive attitude and team-oriented approach.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality work under deadlines and navigate real-world creative challenges.
Physical Effort:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a computer
  • Dexterity for using design tools and equipment
  • Ability to distinguish colors, fonts, and images
