Position Summary:We are seeking a highly creative and technically skilled Senior User Experience Designer to join our Design & Experience team in our Research Triangle Park (Raleigh, NC) office. This position will play a key role in shaping the next generation of digital and connected medical device experiences by transforming user insights, clinical workflows, and business objectives into intuitive, effective, and engaging solutions.The ideal candidate is an exceptional problem solver, design strategist, and storyteller who thrives at the intersection of user needs, technology, and healthcare. Working closely with Industrial Design, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Product Management, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, and Marketing teams, the Senior User Experience Designer will lead the creation of user-centered experiences that improve usability, safety, efficiency, and satisfaction for healthcare providers and patients.This role offers the opportunity to influence globally deployed medical technologies while helping redefine the future of aesthetic and dermatologic care through thoughtful, evidence-based user experience design.Duties & Responsibilities:User improvement.Other duties as needed or required.Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (minimum four-year degree) in: UX Design, HCI, Interaction Design, Human Factors Engineering, Product Design, Graphic Design, or a closely related design discipline.7+ years of professional User Experience Design experience.Experience leading UX efforts for complex software, hardware-integrated, or connected products.Experience in medical devices, healthcare technology, consumer electronics, or other highly technical product environments.Strong portfolio demonstrating successful UX strategy, interaction design, user research, and product development work.Expert knowledge of user-centered design methodologies and processes.Strong interaction design, information architecture, and visual communication skills.Proficiency with: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Prototyping and user testing tools.Experience utilizing AI-enabled design, research, prototyping, and development tools within the product development process.Strong understanding of design systems and scalable user interface frameworks.Ability to synthesize technical, clinical, market, and user requirements into intuitive experiences.Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.Strong presentation and storytelling abilities.Preferred Qualifications:Experience designing software interfaces for regulated medical devices or healthcare applications.Experience developing Android embedded applicationsExperience supporting human factors engineering and usability validation activities.Experience working closely with clinical and regulatory teams.Experience collaborating with Industrial Design teams on integrated hardware and software solutions.Familiarity with FDA human
