Job description

Responsibilities

This role requires candidates to be onsite 5-days per week (M-F) at our Rosemont, IL Headquarters

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare Sales & Use tax workpapers, tax returns, tax payments, and journal entries
  • Coordinate Sales & Use tax reporting with 3rd party provider
  • Gather audit documentation, prepare audit work papers, identify and research audit issues
  • Prepare general ledger account reconciliations for accrued Sales & Use tax and other miscellaneous tax liability accounts
  • Research various tax issues, prepare Sales & Use tax matrices, and respond to tax questions from the various businesses
  • Analyze and resolve notices and correspondence from various state and local tax authorities
  • Other projects or duties as assigned
Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2 to 4 plus years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Degree with 5 to 7 plus years of specific experience

Preferred Education and Experience: 

  • Master's Degree or Certified Public Accounant (CPA)
