About E & E Tech

E & E Tech is a fast-growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) dedicated to delivering cutting-edge IT solutions with rapid response times and expert service. Our team thrives on innovation, efficiency, and delivering superior technology solutions that go beyond quick fixes.

We are specifically looking for a highly detail-oriented and technically skilled LOS Application Administrator with deep expertise in Loan Origination Systems (such as Encompass or Empower). This role will serve as the subject matter expert for the mortgage technology environment while supporting integrations, SQL backends, and automated disclosure/underwriting workflows.

Key Responsibilities

LOS Management & Administration:

  • Serve as the primary administrator for the Loan Origination System (LOS), managing user security, persona-based access, and organizational hierarchy.
  • Manage LOS environments (Desktop and Web versions), including coordination of version upgrades, critical patches, and regulatory compliance updates.
  • Utilize Business Rules, Advanced Coding, and Input Form Builders to customize the user interface and loan logic to fit specific lending products and state requirements.
  • Maintain environment integrity across Development (Sandbox), Testing, and Production, ensuring smooth promotion of custom code and business logic.

Data, Reporting & SQL Optimization:

  • Manage Microsoft SQL Server specifically for the LOS data folders, including writing complex queries, views, and stored procedures for loan pipeline analysis.
  • Develop and maintain custom reporting using Reporting Databases, SSRS, and Power BI, ensuring accurate data representation for secondary marketing and executive leadership.
  • Monitor database performance and troubleshoot latency issues during high-volume peak periods.

Integrations & API Management:

  • Build, configure, and maintain LOS APIs (Developer Connect) for system integrations (e.g., connecting the LOS to POS platforms, CRM tools, or third-party Appraisal/Title vendors).
  • Read, interpret, and configure workflows using XML (MISMO standards) and JSON for data interchange between the LOS and external portals.
  • Manage SDK/API connectors and ensure accurate data synchronization between the core system and third-party fintech tools.

Microsoft & Cloud Administration:

  • Administer and support Azure environments hosting LOS-related application resources and middleware.
  • Work with Windows Server environments to support LOS services, plugin servers, and database instances.

Workflow Automation & Support:

  • Analyze mortgage business processes (Processing, Underwriting, Closing) and implement automation solutions to enhance "Time to Close" efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application errors, acting as the Tier 2/3 support for internal LOS issues and e-folder/e-signing failures.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for business rules, custom input forms, and third-party integration mappings.
Qualifications & Skills

Required Technical Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience administering a major Loan Origination System (Encompass or Empower preferred) is required.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, with the ability to write complex T-SQL queries and perform performance tuning for large loan databases.
  • Experience with Business Rules (VB.NET or C#), Custom Input Forms, and User Defined Fields (UDF).
  • Proficiency in reporting tools, specifically SSRS, Power BI, or LOS-native reporting engines.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and MISMO XML data standards.
  • Experience with Azure administration and Windows Server management.

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in Mortgage Lending, Banking, or Fintech environments.
  • Experience integrating the LOS with Point of Sale (POS) platforms (e.g., Blend, Maxwell) or CRM solutions (e.g., Total Expert, Salesforce).
  • Familiarity with ITSM platforms such as Autotask, ServiceNow, or ConnectWise.

Soft Skills:

  • Highly detail-oriented with a deep understanding of the regulatory sensitivity of mortgage data.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize critical "system-down" tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders (Loan Officers, Underwriters, and Compliance).
Why Join E & E Tech?
  • Work with a growing and innovative IT solutions provider in the thriving mortgage tech space.
  • Be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team.
  • Competitive salary and opportunities for professional development and certifications.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge cloud, automation, and fintech integration technologies.
