We are seeking a System Engineer for one of our PRIME CONTRACTS and offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. These applications are used across the government enterprise and are critical to the daily functions of thousands of users across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, logistics and more. The selected candidate will provide System Engineering leadership to an existing team providing Life Cycle Sustainment (LCS) and modernization activities for commercial and custom-developed education, learning, and training applications that are vital to the Government enterprise.
  • Conduct process evaluations of the corporate enterprise applications to identify areas for improvement and optimization while ensuring adherence to enterprise process standards for the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, Government Product Leads and Government Leadership Teams to define, prioritize and implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and methodologies within the program and facilitate the adoption of agile and DevOps practices.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including process standards, program-level templates and best practice guides.
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization within the application development lifecycle
  • Proactively identify potential risks and issues in the systems and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote knowledge sharing and enhance the technical skills of the team members.
  • Engage with Government Leadership, Product Leads and development teams to identify technical issues and provide guidance and coordinate solutions to resolve them effectively.
  • Participate in incident response and problem-solving activities to address critical system issues and minimize downtime.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior system engineers and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to enterprise application development and support.

  • Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in a team lead role of diverse skillsets and experience levels.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Strong project leadership skills to include identifying opportunities, risks and communicating with all levels of contractor and Government leadership.
  • Willingness to learn and develop strong understanding new technologies and products.
  • Experience developing and updating technical documentation including project schedules
  • Experience with requirements management to include working with customers to capture clear definition of done
  • TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph

The estimated salary range for this position is between $185,000-$215,000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package. Actual salaries are influenced by several factors, such as location, the individual's education, skills, experience, and competencies, as well as contract affordability and organizational needs.
