Job Description
DUTIES: New program implementation/execution (SOR prep, forecasting, controls/robotics design, equipment build/run-off and buyoff). Design, construction, integration, plant installation, successful launch and continuous improvement of equipment and tools required in plants for the production of high quality parts. Manage deliveries to program timing milestones. Provide project report outs to senior management. Existing program/site support (troubleshooting, etc.). Design and troubleshooting of electrical controls systems. 50% travel to client sites domestically
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study. Eight (8) years of experience as a GM Controls Floor System Engineer, Controls Engineer, Project and Controls Engineer, Mechanical and Electrical Design Engineer, Mechanical Design Jr. Engineer, or related occupation. OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study. Five (5) years of experience as a GM Controls Floor System Engineer, Controls Engineer, Project and Controls Engineer, Mechanical and Electrical Design Engineer, Mechanical Design Jr. Engineer, or related occupation Five (5) years of experience with Electrical and Control Systems; Mechanical concepts involving machine designs, process requirements involved in manufacturing process; PLC and HMI programming, Ethernet, and Devicenet networks; design and troubleshoot electrical controls systems; and project management skills. Two (2) years of experience with Servo motors, motion controls, and drives; Fanuc robots setup and programming; and GM Control hardware (GCCH-1) and software (GCCS-2) standards.
