Junior Project Manager / Project Engineer (Electrical Construction)
Job Title: Junior Project Manager / Project Engineer (Electrical Construction)
Location: Riverside
Pay/Salary Range: 120K-140K DOE
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30am to 5:30pm

We are actively seeking a Junior Project Manager / Project Engineer to join a respected commercial and industrial construction organization. In this highly visible role, you will work alongside senior project leadership to help deliver complex electrical construction projects from planning through closeout. What You'll Be Responsible For
  • Partner with project leadership to support the successful execution of commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.
  • Coordinate and maintain critical project records, including RFIs, submittals, drawing revisions, specification updates, change documentation, and project logs.
  • Assist with the sourcing, tracking, and delivery of key electrical materials, equipment, switchgear, and lighting components needed to keep projects moving efficiently.
  • Collaborate with field supervision and project management teams to monitor project schedules, workforce requirements, and milestone completion.
  • Review electrical drawings and project documentation to support estimating activities, quantity takeoffs, and budget monitoring.
  • Help maintain project financial controls, including cost tracking and billing support activities.
  • Serve as a communication link between field teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and customers to support project success.
  • Support project closeout activities by compiling as-built documentation, warranties, operation and maintenance manuals, and turnover packages.
  • Help ensure projects remain aligned with safety expectations, technical specifications, and delivery schedules.
To Be Successful in This Role, You'll Bring
  • Required: 3+ years of experience supporting commercial and/or industrial electrical construction projects.
  • Required: Ability to read, interpret, and apply electrical plans, specifications, and single-line diagrams.
  • Required: Experience using construction project management, estimating, or design platforms such as Procore, Accubid, or AutoCAD.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Bluebeam, and general computer applications.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
