Job Summary:
Supernova Technology is a leading provider of cloud-based software solutions for securities-based lending. They are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to learn from experienced technical talent, contribute to the software development life cycle, and assist in diagnosing product issues while developing coding skills.
Responsibilities:
• Remain involved in Supernova's full software development life cycle
• Hands-on coding for new features and bug fixing
• Contribute to release and deployment of the software component that is within this individuals domain
• Diagnose potential product issues and provide technical support
• Get involved in ad-hoc projects as requested (or interested in)
Qualifications:
Required:
• BA/BS or MA/MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Knowledge or experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, and JavaScript. Python is a plus
• Hands-on practice on Java Spring Framework and Spring boot
• Ability to handle high priority requests in a timely fashion
• Ability to adapt to the dynamic and changing nature of a startup company and developer roles
