 Tech7 is seeking a Jr. Software Engineer to join our team.  This position is hybrid requiring 2-3 days per week on site located in Colorado Springs, CO.   

The Jr. Software Engineer will be working is a highly visible project, with a few govt stakeholders.  This position develops supporting applications, UI/UX, database queries, web services Member of a collaborative, integrated federal Government/contractor DRAGON Army team that develops, tests, and deploys specialized, high-impact software applications using Agile methodologies in a DevOps pipeline and communications for a government run commercial operations center.

Responsibilities:

  • Individual contribution role in the technical and programmatic actions to establish, optimize, and maintain a fully functional DevOps pipeline that supports the DRAGON Army mission.  Work with the Government customer and integrated product teams, consisting of Government contractor personnel, to implement required software feature sets, DevOps capabilities, and pipeline performance enhancements. 
  • Contribute to the development, integration, and execution of tools designed to assess and improve the utility of organization applications. 
  • Knowledge of Agile software processes and ceremonies

 Requirements:

  • Up to 3 years of experience in agile software development   
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, and agile team-focused environment
  • Agile process knowledge 
  • Core Concept - programming skills in at least one major language
  • Understanding of software development methodologies and tools
  • Time management, problem-solving, communications, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • US citizenship required.

 Minimum Education:

  • Technical Degree (Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical degrees preferred.)

 Clearance: 

  • Top Secret eligible.  Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. 

 Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.   Annual Pay Transparency Range: $103,000.00 - $112,000.00
