TagMaster NA is seeking an experienced and professional Software Developer with the ability to work with our development team to create, maintain, test, and manage our software applications.

Experience and knowledge of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), security, access control, and Identification solutions is a plus. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and available immediately. This position reports to the President and the Vice President of Operations and is for support on the TagMaster NA’s products and services deployed on the access control and security industries, and requires knowledge and understanding of binary, Linux command, and interfaces such as Ethernet, Wiegand, and serial.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as this position requires interacting with other team members via email, conferencing, phone, IM and business communication platforms such as teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and deploy software applications, new features, and defect fixes.
  • Review test case, test plan, and automated test scripts.
  • Write Unit Test, Perform Code reviews, and participate in Scrum meetings.
  • Work with Product Managers and engineers to collaborate, review, and deliver high quality software applications.
  • Good skills in evaluating performance and security of applications and deliver solutions which are efficient and performant.
  • Participate as an integral and enthusiastic part of the team, exhibiting ownership, follow through, initiative, awareness and effective communication with peers and management.
  • Continually learn, actively share knowledge, and foster exchange of skills.
  • Candidate must understand fast-paced, sense of urgency environments.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in application development preferred
  • 1+ years of experience with JAVA, .NET Core, and C preferred.
  • Proficient in relational databases and SQL
  • Work on multiple projects at once while keeping focused on project timeline.
  • Demonstrate strong problem solving / troubleshooting practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for phone and e-mail as well as working as part of a team
  • Knowledge of RFID and License Plate Recognition systems is a plus.
  • Flexibility: Be adaptable, open-minded, and unbothered by change and a dynamic environment while being able to see the big picture.

  • Must be legally eligible to work in the USA
  • Travel and fieldwork may be required.
  • Must be able to use public transportation for business travel (common carrier)
  • Must be available to work at the TagMaster North America office located in Tacoma, Washington
  • Candidates must present themselves professionally, both in appearance and verbally
  • Must be able to understand instructions given in English, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
