We are actively seeking a Junior Level Software Engineer with a range of skills and a passion for learning new things who can apply their skills to developing high-quality, real-time embedded software for fielded electronics platforms. Required Education, Experience, & Skills * This position is open to applicants with varying levels of experience. To be considered for Software Engineer I you must hold a bachelor's degree. To be considered for a Software Engineer II you must hold a Masters Degree.
* Strong problem-solving skills that translate to working, maintainable software.
* Able to obtain a Secret clearance. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills * Demonstrated proficiency in a high level software language such as Java, C++, C, or Python * Coursework or other experience in embedded software development. * Working knowledge of software tools such as Jira, BitBucket, debuggers, containers, etc.
* Experience with Agile Development and DevSecOps
* Experience developing on Windows/Linux Operating Systems
* Experience using git or another version control system * Familiarity with Unit Testing frameworks
* Active Secret Clearance Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $86580 - $147186 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
