Both roles are essential in automotive service environments, with the Junior position serving as a stepping stone to full Service Advisor roles.

Can I be a junior service advisor with no experience?

Junior service advisors typically do not require prior experience, as they often receive on-the-job training to learn customer service skills, vehicle systems, and dealership procedures. Having a high school diploma or equivalent is usually sufficient to start, and some knowledge of automotive basics can be helpful. Employers may also look for good communication skills and a willingness to learn.

What is a junior service advisor?

A junior service advisor is an entry-level professional who assists customers with vehicle service needs, communicates repair details, and coordinates between customers and technicians.
