Under the responsibility of the Business Development Manager, the incumbent fulfills the responsibilities related to sales and representation of their territory.
Tasks and responsabilities:

  • Is responsible for the development and management of their territory and the sales budget according to the corporation's objectives through special presentations of current and new products in the markets;
  • Is responsible for representing the company to large retail stores;
  • Is responsible for product training, communication with customers regarding technical aspects of the products, problem-solving, and influencing customers' purchasing decisions;
  • Is responsible for reporting to management on the activities of their territory;
  • Regularly engages in prospecting activities;
  • Is responsible for providing the company with feedback on field tests of new formulas or prototypes;
  • Participates in the development of new products with product managers;
  • Performs any other related tasks.

  • College Degree (CD) in business, architecture or engineering technology with 5 years of experience in sales and/or customer service and/or 5 years of experience in the flooring installation field (ceramic, carpet, vinyl, wood)
  • Bilingual in spoken and written (French and English)
  • Knowledge of industry standards, quality, and Mapei products
  • Mathematical skills and technical writing
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Perseverance
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Valid driver's license
