Job description

Overview:Holley is modernizing its enterprise technology stack — ERP, WMS, CRM, e-commerce, finance, and operational platforms — and we are hiring two Senior Integration Engineers to architect and build the integration layer that connects them. This role is about designing and engineering the application-to-application connectivity that allows systems to communicate reliably, securely, and in near real time. You will create the APIs, workflows, and orchestration patterns that move information across platforms so business processes operate seamlessly. This is not a data analytics or data engineering role.It is a hands-on integration engineering role focused on:
  • API development and orchestration
  • Workato-based integrations
  • Event-driven and system-to-system connectivity
  • Enterprise application integration architecture
You will primarily leverage Workato as our enterprise iPaaS platform, with increasing exposure to Infor ION as our ERP footprint expands. If you enjoy building the connective tissue between enterprise systems — designing how applications talk to each other and ensuring information flows cleanly across them — this role is for you.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build scalable, secure integrations using Workato as the primary platform.
  • Architect APIs, orchestration flows, and event-driven integrations across ERP, WMS, CRM, finance, and e-commerce systems.
  • Create reusable connectors, templates, and patterns that elevate our entire integration ecosystem.
  • Develop custom connectors and recipes using the Workato SDK (Python/Ruby) when pre-built connectors won’t cut it.
  • Implement robust error handling, monitoring, retry strategies, and alerting frameworks.
  • Drive integration lifecycle best practices — version control, peer review, testing, and controlled deployments.
  • Serve as a technical escalation point for complex integration failures.
  • Partner with business and application owners to translate business workflows into elegant technical solutions.
  • Contribute to enterprise architecture standards around API governance, authentication, and data integrity.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years in integration engineering, API development, or enterprise systems integration.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Workato (required).
  • Strong API design and consumption skills (REST, SOAP).
  • Fluent in JSON, XML, CSV data transformations.
  • Comfortable building custom connectors (Ruby) or scripting in Python/JavaScript.
  • Experience with OAuth2, JWT, SAML, API keys, and secure integration patterns.
  • Strong troubleshooting instincts — you can diagnose failures across multiple systems without panicking.
  • Experience designing event-driven or asynchronous integration architectures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Infor ION (ION API, ION Desk, workflows).
  • ERP/WMS/CRM integration experience (especially Infor or similar enterprise systems).
  • Experience with integration monitoring tooling (Workato Ops Hub or similar).
  • SQL fluency for data troubleshooting.
  • CI/CD practices applied to integration deployments.
  • Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
