Job description

PLC Programmer / Systems Integrator

Wage range - based on longevity of on the job experience

We are seeking a skilled PLC Programmer and Systems Integrator with hands-on experience in industrial automation and control systems. This role involves designing, programming, and commissioning advanced automation solutions using leading platforms such as Allen Bradley PLC and Siemens PLC.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in industrial control systems, including vision systems such as Cognex, Keyence, and SICK, as well as experience with safety PLC programming and compliance with industrial safety standards. A solid understanding of process automation, combined with strong mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshooting skills, is essential for success in this position.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation systems, optimize performance, and ensure reliability in production environments. Experience with robot programming and robotic integration is considered a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems using Allen Bradley and Siemens platforms
  • Design and implement automation solutions and control system integration
  • Configure and deploy machine vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, SICK)
  • Perform safety PLC programming and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Support system commissioning, testing, and optimization
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues in automated systems
