Foreman Lead Precision Rigging and Industrial Equipment Installations

Company: Halbert Brothers Inc.

Salary/Pay Rate: $130,000 $160,000+ per year (Based on experience).

Location: Field-Based (Travel Required) - City of Industry, CA.

Job/Employment Type: Full Time.

Project Scope: Industrial, Aerospace, and Commercial Machinery.

Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver's License.

The Opportunity

You will serve as a high-impact field leader, directing the precision installation and relocation of heavy industrial assets for a company with nearly a century of excellence. This role empowers you to manage complex rigging logistics while mentoring crews in a supportive, family-owned environment. You will bridge the gap between technical blueprints and successful project completion, ensuring the highest standards of safety and mechanical accuracy.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Supervise and mentor millwright and rigging crews to ensure high-quality delivery on all industrial job sites.
  • Coordinate complex daily logistics, manpower, and project timelines to maintain strict schedule adherence.
  • Execute precision rigging and alignment for high-value equipment, including CNC machines and aerospace components.
  • Interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and layout drawings to guide accurate machinery placement.
  • Oversee the safe operation of forklifts and heavy rigging equipment in accordance with OSHA and DOT standards.
  • Resolve real-time technical and logistical obstacles on-site to prevent project delays or safety hazards.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, dispatch, and clients to represent company values and project status.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience specifically within the millwright or rigging field.
  • Proven ability to lead crews in the installation, removal, and relocation of heavy industrial machinery.
  • Extensive experience with precision equipment alignment, leveling, and heavy rigging techniques.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and mechanical specifications.
  • Absolute willingness to travel to various regional project assignments as required.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Current OSHA safety certification and forklift operator certification.
  • Demonstrated experience training junior team members or apprentices in a field environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of CNC machines and specialized aerospace manufacturing equipment.
