ABOUT US

Eastern National was founded in 1947 by National Park Service Historians with a vision of an organization to serve as a resource-sharing retail network supporting not just one park, but a network of parks regardless of annual visitation or revenue.

Today we operate America’s National Park stores within 172 national park units and other public lands across 33 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

All proceeds from our store operations support interpretive, educational, historical, and scientific projects and programs of the National Park Service and other agencies. Through the years we have provided funding for critical needs such as artifacts, period costumes for living history demonstrations, exhibits, interpretive and research programs, junior ranger activities, and more.

Since our founding, we have provided over $200 million in direct and in-kind aid to national parks. But just as important is the spirit of cooperation that defines our relationship with NPS and other public land ambassadors. Together, we work as a team to serve the public and care for these incredible places.

We are currently searching for a dynamic leader for our Regional Manager role in the DC area.
