As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients through the use of advanced imaging technologies. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring accurate interpretations of imaging studies, thereby contributing significantly to our patients' healthcare journeys.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret and analyze medical images to provide accurate diagnoses
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging findings
  • Perform necessary radiological procedures in a timely manner
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
  • Stay updated on advancements in radiology and imaging technology
  • Participate in departmental meetings and educational opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior radiologists
Requirements
  • MD degree with completed residency in Radiology
  • Associate level experience in a clinical radiology setting
  • Strong ability to interpret a variety of medical imaging modalities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Familiarity with current radiological standards and practices
  • State medical license valid for practice in Belleville

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

Case Types: Body imaging with a focus on oncology

Setting: Remote

Will read for multiple facilities

General Diagnostic Role Details:

Schedule: Saturday-Sunday, 10a-7p

Case Types: ER, inpatient, and outpatient studies

Setting: Remote

Will read for one facility

Overall Role Details:

Case Volume: 7 RVUs per hour

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
