Pay Range: $23/hr - $31/hr

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401k, sick time and PTO after 90 days!

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Summary: Operate the Coordinate Measuring Machine to perform dimensional lay-outs for the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), internal and customer-requested capability studies, and other measuring requirements. Maintain the Calibration program. Assist in overall conformance to the company policies and procedures. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Operate the Coordinate Measuring Machine with expertise and reasonable speed

Understand software in use for statistical studies and CAD data

Prepare statistical calculations and reports

Understand and be able to continuously improve the Calibration Program

Maintain the Calibration Program to keep calibrations up-to-date

Perform minor in-house calibration schedule so all affected equipment is calibrated on a timely basis

Perform capability studies & Gage R&Rs

Perform a Layered Process Audits

Assist with problem solving and other functions in the Quality Department

Requirements

Education and/or Experience: 

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills:

Intermediate computer skills with Windows based software
