Job description

Resulting from aggressive business growth, my client has asked me to identify a highly visible Jr. Quality Engineering Manager. This growth company, a leading flow and temperature control valve manufacturer for the HVAC, AI Data Centers, and Irrigation industries, base salary for this role will likely be in the $110K-$120K range plus bonuses, location is Orange County. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The incumbent will develop and implement quality assurance standards, processes, controls, methods for inspection, testing, and training on product components and final assemblies. Develop systems, write procedures, work instructions, forms and implement. Must be able to clearly communicate quality expectations to all parties, while consistently and thoroughly enforcing policy requirements. Interface with staff, other departments, customers, and suppliers where necessary. Plan and conduct internal audits (or coordinate with 3rd Party) and coordinate external quality audits. Stay current with all regulatory and quality assurance related changes within the industry and implement any required changes. Investigate and address internal and external customer quality issues/ complaints and returns. Implement effective permanent corrective action through Internal Corrective Action Process (i.e., 8D). Maintain ISO 9001:2015 Quality System compliance including certification audits. Hires, trains, supervises, motivates, and develops Quality staff. Build positive team spirit through respectful leadership and teamwork. Uphold safety standards, promote a harassment-free environment. Treat people with respect and uphold organizational values.
