Junior Project Manager
Job Title - Junior Project Manager
Location - Novi, Dallas,North Kingstown, Monterey - Hybrid
Summary
At Hexagon, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our AQS team.
The selected candidate will be responsible for leading complex industrial projects, ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, cost, and quality, and acting as a key point of contact for both customers and internal teams.
Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end management of projects, ensuring the achievement of scope, planning, budget, and quality objectives.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities in collaboration with the various teams and departments involved.
  • Establish and maintain structured and effective communication with customers, including the organization and facilitation of regular progress review meetings.
  • Proactively identify, analyse, and manage project risks, dependencies, and potential deviations.
  • Oversee and validate project milestones, deliverables, and associated billing status.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (engineering, sales, operations, and leadership) to ensure proper project execution.
  • Drive an excellent customer experience through clear, professional, and solution-oriented communication.
  • Lead the coordination of bids for complex projects, working jointly with the sales and engineering departments.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, and/or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of project management disciplines, methodologies, and tools. PMP certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager in industrial projects, preferably within the automotive sector and/or similar industries.
  • Ability to interact with customers at both a business and technical level.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage assignments.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to present to internal and customer stakeholders.
  • Comfortable speaking in public and presenting to small groups.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in collaborative team environments.
  • Willingness to travel.

Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in international and multidisciplinary environments.
  • Knowledge of project planning and tracking tools (Wrike, MS Project, Jira, SAP, or similar).
  • Experience in risk management, change management, and cost control.
  • Additional certifications in project management or agile methodologies.
