Job Description
BCS Allegient has a 35-year history of helping government, research, and private sector clients implement their programs and missions to achieve success. We offer a breadth of professional support services in the areas of business management, communications, systems engineering, analysis, mission execution, and organization performance. BCS Allegient is looking for a Junior Program Engineer to join our team at the Office of Naval Research in Arlington, VA.
This position is onsite in Arlington, VA.
Salary range: $75K
Essential Job Functions
  • Assist the Program Manager with management and oversight of program objectives
  • Assist the coordination of conferences, demonstrations, expositions, events, meetings, technical reviews, etc.
  • Maintaining briefings; and assisting in coordinating input for data calls, such as budget exhibit submissions, congressional requests for information and budgetary drills.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining key documents and master plans that incorporate all relevant studies and analyses.
  • Support technical management of programs including acquisition plan development, representation of the government project manager where required, and assessment of performance in terms of technical objectives, costs and schedule.
  • Support the management and execution of programs by updating Task Planning Sheets, Mission Model Canvas sheets, quad sheets, Fact Sheets and drafting portfolio review slides
  • Assist in the development of databases for technical and programmatic tracking of key deliverables and milestones.
  • Assist in the preparation of program status reports and after-action reports following major program reviews or key events, as required.
  • Support preparation of draft briefing materials, meeting/trip agendas, reports, correspondence, and action item tracking.

Job Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with five (5) years of experience in engineering, mathematics, or science, including biology, chemistry, computer science, and physics.
  • Education Credit: A master's degree from an accredited college or university with 3 years of experience.
  • Recent experience in federal acquisition and budgeting.
  • Experience in executing and reviewing technical studies, analysis, and design activities.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with DoW RDT&E program/budget exhibits & RDT&E strategic plans.
