Job Description

Lead technical design initiatives on process technologies for process engineering. Provide technical support and guidance cross-organizationally to improve product design and performance.
? Work with customers to establish a process system that will perform the required task and meet customer requirements
? Respond to client needs in a timely manner with technically sound positions
? Conduct P&ID walk-downs of manufactured technologies
? Develop and review PFDs and P&IDs for different liquid technologies.
? Compute heat and material balance data for specified technology.
? Utilize specified software, models and spreadsheets to size proprietary equipment.
? Complete process and materials data on equipment datasheets.
? Calculate flow requirements and size piping and pumps compatible with industry practices, company standards and Customer standards (where applicable).
? Contribute to the continuous improvement efforts of the company’s solutions.
? Mentor junior engineers to increase their skills and experience.
? Continuously improve the commitment to excellence in Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security.
? Provide support to other departments and different levels within the organization.

Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelors of Science, Chemical Engineering degree.
• 10+ years technical experience in the refinery, petrochemical, gas processing, E&C industries.
• Quantifiable design and field experience working with caustic/sulfur processes and technologies.
• Expertise in process simulation.
• Work experience in refinery/ petrochemical/ gas processing environments.
• Proficiency with PFD’s, P&ID’s, equipment and instruments sizing.
• Working knowledge of critical software, including Promax and Microsoft Office.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills (English primary).
• Ability to collect data, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Able to work efficiently in a team environment.
