Summary of certifications and jobrequirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the United States, or eligible
- From 8 to 15 years of relevant experience in mining, energy or heavy industry
- Experience in a multidisciplinary consulting engineering environment
- Ability to interpret process and engineering documentation (PFDs, P&IDs, drawings)
- Field experience (construction, commissioning, site support)
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and teams
- Valid driver's license and available for occasional travel
- Experience with PLC/DCS/SCADA programming and control system integration
- Experience with PLC logic, control strategies and operator interfaces (HMI)
- Experience with sensors, loops, control valves and process modelling basics
- Experience with start-up, troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Ability to interpret PFDs/P&IDs and integrate automation systems
- Experience with cross-disciplinary exposure, mechanical and electrical systems, substations, industrial IT and telecom
- Knowledge of the following software and tools:
