Job Summary:
Info Way Solutions is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join their dynamic team in Cupertino, CA. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure solutions, with a focus on AWS, Kubernetes, and AI-based automation.
Responsibilities:
• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Architect, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions on AWS to support Telecommunication's platform infrastructure.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and efficient management of containerized applications.
• Automation & CI/CD: Develop and implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Automate the deployment pipeline using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
• AI/Client Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage AI and machine learning for predictive infrastructure management, self-healing, and scaling of services.
• Database & Messaging Automation: Automate database management, backups, and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) to ensure seamless communication across microservices.
• Monitoring & Performance Optimization: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) to ensure uptime, performance, and rapid incident response.
• Collaboration & Support: Partner with DevOps, software development, and operations teams to troubleshoot and optimize infrastructure. Provide expertise and mentorship to junior engineers as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.) and hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS, Helm, Kustomize).
• Strong understanding of infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
• Proven experience in database management automation (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and messaging systems automation (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with AI/Client technologies and their application in infrastructure optimization and automation.
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Go) for automation and infrastructure management.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) and log management systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and high availability.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred:
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with machine learning models for infrastructure automation and predictive analytics.
• Familiarity with service mesh architectures (e.g., Istio or Linkerd).
