Junior Planner - Blue Ash, OH


Execute daily production plans established by Master Scheduler or Planner. Required to monitor work-center capacities on a daily basis and 1 week out to determine the results of late, expedited or rescheduled work orders and communicate these activities to the areas impacted. Must work as the liaison between Planner and Team Leads to ensure schedule adherence for on-time order completion.

What you will be doing

  • Executes daily plans provided by master scheduling and planning.
  • Daily issuance of orders to the Fabrication area. Work with Area Team Leaders to ensure area can complete daily orders and must balance or make line adjustments as required.
  • Compiling and transferring all requires information and programs to the Fab area using Line specific tools and applications.
  • Monitors schedules by utilizing the established scheduling tools (i.e., Door Dashboard, Production Information Board) assuring that work-centers are on time and the system is updated to reflect accurate information. Notifies area managers or supervisors in manufacturing of late work-centers.
  • Daily WIP Audits to evaluate Product movement to ensure product Flow through the Value Stream.
  • Reports on schedule compliance and on the status of all work orders daily, highlighting any potential problems that may arise based on current visibility, knowledge of equipment downtime, or other manufacturing factors.
  • Assures computer data integrity. Report any findings/concerns to the appropriate personnel for immediate resolution.
  • Evaluate Steel requirements and make Changes based on available steel.
  • Other duties as assigned.
