Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000
The Senior Visual Designer is part of the creative team responsible for bringing Apple Bank's vision to life, overseeing projects from initial concepts to final delivery. This role involves creating and implementing fresh ideas based on creative briefs, ensuring that all marketing materials reflect and enhance the Bank's brand.
Responsibilities encompass digital assets such as display advertising, billboards, video reels, and social media, as well as print campaigns, branch merchandising, signage, marketing collateral including posters and flyers, direct mail initiatives, and out-of-home (OOH) advertising. The Senior Visual Designer also contributes expertise to sponsorship advertisements, video productions, digital signage, event exhibits, and internal presentations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design high-quality, on-brand visual experiences across digital, print, and branch platforms, including print campaigns, promotional branch screens, brand imagery, website, and new product launches.
  • Collaborate with marketing leadership to craft compelling visual narratives that support business goals while maintaining a cohesive and consistent user journey.
  • Establish, evolve, and uphold brand guidelines, templates, and best practices for internal and external partners.
  • Manage and review projects to confirm compliance with quality standards, brand guidelines, and platform-specific requirements, working under the direction of the Creative Director.
  • Produce digital reels and motion graphics for in-branch digital signage, digital billboards, and in-stadium signage.
  • Develop support materials for branches including direct mail, posters, flyers, buckslips, signage, events, journal ads, and custom giveaways.
  • Craft custom illustrations and icons for use across designs.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize tasks based on urgency without compromising quality.
  • Interact with stakeholders to gather requirements for design projects and independently deliver concepts for management review.
  • Provide thought leadership on brand, product and campaign creative strategies.
  • Remain current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving best practices.
  • Coordinate the delivery of a suite of creative assets across channels for multifaceted campaigns, which may include working with agency partners.
  • Pursue opportunities to enhance workflows, templates, and tools to optimize efficiency, scalability, and overall quality.
  • Partner with vendors to create assets for sponsorships.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

SKILLS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in either graphic design, illustration, visual communication or related field.
  • 8 + years of established visual design experience within marketing or advertising agencies, retail organizations, in-house teams, or a combination thereof; experience with financial service firms is required, with Bank or Credit Union experience preferred.
  • Must have a strong portfolio that demonstrates exceptional visual craft in multiple media.
  • Comprehensive understanding of, and passion for, core design principles including typography, color theory, layout, and spatial composition.
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud, including expert-level skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Figma, with proven ability to collaborate, review, and contribute effectively to shared design files.
  • Demonstrated experience in photo retouching and color correction.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft operating systems.
  • Experience in video and/or podcast editing is advantageous.
  • Web development experience is considered a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration capabilities, paired with meticulous attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship.
  • Ability to work independently while making positive contributions within a team setting.
