Job Summary:

Ruggable is on a mission to reinvent the way people think about their homes, starting from the ground up. We believe design should be beautiful, functional, and washable. As we continue to expand our global reach and raise the bar for digital experiences, we're looking for a detail-driven and technically skilled Digital Imaging Specialist / Photo Retoucher to join our Creative team.

As our Digital Imaging Specialist / Photo Retoucher, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our imagery meets the highest standards of quality, consistency, and accuracy across every channel. You'll bring a deep expertise in retouching, color correction, have a photography background and experience in high-volume ecommerce imagery, delivering fast turnarounds without ever compromising on quality. With a sharp eye for detail and a passion for process, you'll help streamline workflows, maintain brand integrity, and empower our creative output at scale.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, design-driven company where your technical skill and creative problem-solving will directly impact how customers experience our brand. You'll collaborate closely with creative production, design, and marketing partners to deliver assets that not only look beautiful but are also optimized for speed, efficiency, and consistency.

What You'll Do

As a Digital Imaging Specialist / Photo Retoucher, you'll be a key partner to our creative and photo post-production teams. Your focus will be on color accuracy, efficiency, and asset readiness—helping us move quickly without sacrificing quality.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Retouching and color correcting product and lifestyle imagery with precision and consistency
  • Preparing assets for e-commerce, email campaigns, paid media, and social platforms
  • Managing and organizing files within our digital asset management (DAM) system
  • Ensuring consistency across brand visuals and color standards
  • Partnering closely with cross-functional teams (creative production, marketing, textile design and product) to review and deliver assets on time
  • Contributing to process improvements that streamline workflows and reduce turnaround times
  • Expertise in photo compositing to create seamless, production-ready assets.
  • Digital Asset Management Assistant: Supporting the team with Canto DAM uploads & final deliverable tagging, file creation and file scripting
  • Sample Management: Organizing top of production samples, supporting production and product teams with moving samples between the Design area and Lightbooth viewing area

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of digital ecommerce photo experience (in-house or agency)
  • Strong background in color matching to product with the ability to deliver fast turnarounds while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Capture One
  • Experience with digital asset management systems and best practices
  • Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach to versioning, file prep, and deadlines
  • Familiarity with Air Table, Asana, Figma, Frame.io, Slack, and Google Suite
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of print production and e-comm workflows, ensuring accurate color and quality from digital to physical, including color management and material considerations
  • Experience in e-commerce or other fast-paced creative production environments

Nice to Have

  • Experience with scripting/automation to streamline repetitive production tasks
  • Experience in interior, architectural, and/or home goods retouching
