Title: PL/SQL Developer Lead
Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite, 5x per week)
Duration: 6 Months (Contract)
Job Description:
We are seeking a PL/SQL Developer Lead with strong expertise in Oracle database development and performance optimization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SQL and PL/SQL programming, performance tuning, and database management across multiple Oracle versions. This role requires excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills to work collaboratively with technical and functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL procedures, packages, triggers, and functions.
  • Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning for large-scale enterprise systems.
  • Collaborate with application developers and DBAs to optimize database queries and improve performance.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to design efficient database solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers and cross-functional teams.
  • Document database processes, standards, and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 4-8 years of hands-on experience in RDBMS, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL development.
  • Proven experience with Oracle 10g, 11g, and 19c environments.
