Job description

Requirements:
  • This role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division.
  • You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Solving complex industrial problems, and reviewing current technologies to choose effective applications, equipment and methods for new products or software
  • Lead for taking architectural decisions on Embedded Products with evaluating technical and business trade offs
  • Manage the whole SW development life cycle (SDLC) of embedded software: Requirements engineering, design, implementation, test including final system testing and maintenance
  • Performing a variety of complex technology/engineering assignments, typically utilizing advanced, innovative techniques
  • Training junior team members when needed, and heading up or participating in projects
  • Lead/Collaborate well with R&D teams, to deliver the Product releases on time, with good quality
  • Align with manager (time, cost, quality) and complete project deliverables
  • Keeping up to date with technologies, tools and methods, and implementing initiatives to improve operations and customer satisfaction
  • Providing expert assistance for projects and colleagues, acting as a mentor and disseminating lessons learned
  • Developing project IP strategies, as well as identifying and managing risks in R&D projects

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
  • Must have 8+ years of experience in embedded systems architecture and design.
  • Sound Knowledge of Embedded Operating Systems e.g., Embedded Linux and/or other relevant OS experience (e.g., FreeRTOS, VxWorks, Green Hills, QNX).
  • Proven track record in embedded software programming in C/C++.
  • Hands on experience on MQTT, Sparkplug B and similar protocols
  • Good to have Node JS, React knowledge.
  • Demonstrable experience in a lead position and proven capability in the technical management of at least one other engineer.
